My first guest post has been featured over at raisingmom.ca!
In this post, I talked about how easy it is to get overwhelmed with children, especially young children. Some of you know I have 4 boys ages 4 and under and my husband has been deployed since last summer. “Overwhelmed” seems like an understatement some days.
It has been ROUGH. There’s absolutely no sugar-coating it. I struggle with parenting more than anything in my life. I struggle to parent the way God asks me to and because of that my motherhood is being stolen daily with impatience, anger, and frustration. I am learning to take it one hour at a time through the day. That really seems to help me react the way I should be reacting rather than react the way I want to react in certain situations.

Erin at raisingmom.ca has 3 adoptive children and her story is a beautiful one. Be sure to check out her adoptive story and video on her site. The story is beautiful and brought me to tears!
We as parents are to raise our children the way God wants us to. They are His. We need to handle our children with loving spirits and let the light of Christ reflect through our parenting so that light can be passed onto them and they can know God and share His love with their future families and with the world as they grow into adults.
